Welcome to The Social!

Welcome friends to the very first edition of The Social.  Who are we? I bet you're asking yourself that.  Well I will tell you, we are Michigan’s first Cannabis Consumption Lounge.  That is correct. Our goal at the Social is to bring everyone, from every walk of life, together with the power of cannabis.

Let me draw a picture for you. The year is 2006, and you have just turned 21. Unfortunately for you, alcohol is not something you care for or maybe you do. However, you love cannabis. We all know from way back in the day alcohol has been a friend to the social scene, and with that you have the establishment of our first ever alcoholic bar.  The White Horse Tavern in Rhode Island was established in 1673.  Now do the math, how long ago was that? 348 years ago!

As we already know, cannabis has been around forever, being a natural grown plant and a staple in holistic medicine for years. Unfortunately, unlike alcohol, cannabis has been frowned upon  and has left us fellow cannabis consumers in the dark. Literally and figuratively.  Well the time is here my friends! The first cannabis lounge in the US was established in California back in October 2019.

The best part is, states are starting to follow along, and that means Michigan is about to have one of the very first cannabis lounges to be established, right here in Ann Arbor. That's right, we are THE SOCIAL.

Here at The Social, our entire goal is to give people a safe place to consume their cannabis, and not to be ashamed and hide in the dark from the world.  If you want to study, play pool, watch the game, hang out with friends, or even get a VIP room, you can.  Here at The Social we want to provide you a time of comfort and enjoyment.  So if you're tired of driving the back road to be safe or just stuck at home because you want to enjoy your session, well don't worry, you can come hang out with us soon.
